yesterday martin completed a 150 MILE cycle rids from his house in middle rasen to OXFORD, this journey took him 17 hours in total and has made me think that he is insane.

I personally like my achievement of 26 miles which i achieved about a month ago cycling to his house. Second time around it wasn't THAT bad although 150 miles isn't my idea of fun.

Still congrats martin and as long as u don't drag me along in the near future have fun :P

today i go to my dads, and martin comes tomorrow,last time i get to see him b4 uni... who knows what will happen...

im currently sat in ICT bored to hell, so i thought id add a short blog post.

Lithium is no more, it was a good server but because it was our first it was all hacked together... now I bring you Cyclone!!

Cyclone runs CentOS and Plesk so should work a hell of a lot better then it was...

Thinky strikes back, last night the laptop, codenamed thinky, broke!!! the power adaptor cable snapped causing a short circuit....

So i take it into JLC today to the electronics department to see what can be done, afterdistracting the teacher for 30 mins i have a new adaptor... YEY... so that gets stuck on to the main adaptor and that is the end of that...

OR SO I THINK

arrived home to test out my newly built adaptor to find it DOESN'T FIT, GRRRRR....

anyway i dawdle off to the computer shops looking for a new one... Maxwells: "we have the new ones but there £40" Crams: "WAAA I dunno davey" << amatures then a electrical components shop... "oh thats a 2.5mm socket here we have them for £2 but you have to solder the wire on yourself, we will sell you the wire for 35p a meter".... hummmm i cba to solder it on mate but thanks for telling me EXACTLY what i need...

so i take a trip to poundland... doh out of stock, next B&M Bargins YEY.... i buy a DC Power adapter... (the multi things that work with almost anything) unfortunetly it only goes up to 12V and i NEED 16V... no worries nothing a pair of wire cutters and some imagination cant fix...

so now i have the old power cable with the new adaptor WHICH FITS and has 16V running through it .. sooo as the title says... INDESTRUCTABLE LAPTOP....

Well actually this was the 3rd day ive attended JLC in this new year, i would like to have not come back however here i am.

Im studying A2 Electronics, A2 Maths, A2 General Studies and AS Single Award ICT. So far my ICT teacher is pissing me off as he thinks that because im smarter then him i should be the center of attention and i HATE that.

still... what do you know.

Oh my bday went great, no thanks to Paul, i got loads of cool stuff and even driving lessons... should be fun. New push-bike, external hard-drive, Nikon Camera, £100+ cash, £150 for driving lessons, and other cool stuff.

Another bday over and done with. Last night i made andrew resurrect his MicroNatia project with a little influence from me, not coding but general ideas. Ill keep you all informed of its progress.
